SUMMER

Summer is a female greenwing macaw who is about 10 years old.  She is bonded with Virgil and not very social, but we are working with her to help her relate to humans better. I think she has potential with the right person. We would separate the two, if need be.

VIRGIL

Virgil is a male blue and gold macaw who is about 20 years old. He is pretty friendly, but a bit bonded to Summer. Once separated from her, he will make a great pet!

SPARKY

Sparky is a 30+year old, Congo African grey.  She is hand tame, will step up, but for some reason is fearful and "growls" alot.  She came from a very neglectful home and had very poor nutrition, so she needs a loving family to fill her remaining yeas with love!

SPUNKY and SIERRA

We have a bonded pair of peach-faced lovebirds that were a breeder pair, Spunky and Sierra. Sierra has a feather-destructive issue on the back of her neck, but is otherwise in full feather. Neither are social or very tame, but they are quiet and entertainig. They would be great in an apartment setting.

MIKO AND KIWI

Miko is the poster bird for "Bald is Beautiful, Baby!". He is a 15+ year old, male blue crowned conure and one half of a pair of bookends. His better half, Kiwi, is a female blue crowned conure who looks just like Miko! Feather damage on both is permanent. Miko has a bit of a "cage aggression" issue, like many male conures have, but he is an absolute sweetie away from the cage. 

Kiwi is not aggressive, but is not socialized and could use a loving home to help with that! They are a bonded pair and will only be adopted out as a couple.

ALEX

This is Alex, one of our umbrella cockatoos. Alex is about 8 years old and has been guessed to be a male, although Casey, our wild caught male has taken a shine to him...her(?) Alex can be very sweet, but is a bit nervous. He/she needs a calm home, perferrably adults or older kids. He/she can be a real cuddler!

MACGYVER

This is Macgyver, the male quaker of a bonded pair of quakers that are about 30 years old. They were originally a breeder pair, so neither one is hand tame, but they are fun to watch and fairly quiet as quakers go! They would be great for someone who does not want to hold them, but would love to have their company.

EDDIE

African grey Timneh named Eddie. He is 15+ years old and has been neglected, so he is both fearful and has plucked his chest.  I see a lot of potential for him, though, with the right person. He needs an adult family that's lifestyle is calm.
