ALBIE
A 20 year plus, male/female (?) orange winged amazon who is especially fearful of hands. He was rescued from a home where he was kept in a basement, with no natural light/windows 3 years ago. He was very wild and the surrendering family worked with him quite a bit. He still does not want to step up or have you touch him much, but he will take treats from you and is definately NOT aggressive. He actually will return to the inside of his cage (from the top play area) when you tell him, "in your cage" and offer him a peanut. Once you gain his trust, you can pet his feet and chest inside the cage and can hold him on your chest. Albie has tons of potential for the person willing to take the time with him. He was given up due to husband's allergies/breathing problems. |

CIELO
Cielo (aka CiCi) a female Jardine's parrot who is around 10 years old. She is a bit nervous at the rescue where it is louder than she is accustomed to, but she loves to ride on your shoulder wherever you go! |

KRAMER
Kramer is a mitred conure who is very bonded with women. She can be a bit nippy at first, but really warms up once she knows you. She likes to give you kisses and preen your eyebrows! |

ROSSI
Rossi is a mitered conure who is permanently feather-plucked and has a couple of feather cysts as well. He does not like being handled, but does like attention and maybe, with the right person in his life, would warm up. We do not know his exact age, but he is about 39 years old and has been with us for awhile.

PICARD
Picard is a female, mitred conure and yes...she only has one leg! But that doesn't seem to hold her down. She is a very friendly bird who is starved for some love and attention. Her feather condition is a bit ratty due to neglect, but new ones are emerging and with the great care at the rescue, she should be in great feather condition soon.
