T.C. is a harlequin macaw about 14 years old.  He (?) is a special needs birds with one leg a bit shorter than the other. We do not know if this was a malformity or an old injury, but he does have a little trouble with stepping up and because of this he is afraid of most strangers at first. Once he learns to trust you, he is very loving and wants lots of attention! So far, we haven't heard say anything, but he can learn!

SUMMER

Summer is a female greenwing macaw who is about 10 years old.  She is bonded with Virgil and not very social, but we are working with her to help her relate to humans better. I think she has potential with the right person. We would separate the two, if need be.

UPDATE: She has been removed from Virgil and she calmed down quite a bit. She is in great feather condition and is a very large macaw. She would do great in a home that has experience handling large macaws since Summer needs a little work to become fully socialized.

VIRGIL

Virgil is a male blue and gold macaw who is about 20 years old. He is pretty friendly, but a bit bonded to Summer. Once separated from her, he will make a great pet!

UPDATE: He prefers men, but is okay with women, too. Now separated from Summer, he is a little nervous and has been picking a little. With a little work and a quieter home, I think he would really make a great pet.

"BIG" MAC

Mac, aka Big Mac, is a sweet blue and gold macaw.  He is a bit afraid of new things and people and so he picks his feathers. Once he learns that he can trust people he will be a great pet!  He is not aggressive or a heavy biter.

MANGO

This is Mango a male, harlequin macaw who is between 12 and 15 years old. He is a BIG guy! His orginal owner was a man who he was bonded with, he then went to a couple and they were a bit intimidated by him, so he needs someone who knows macaws! He also talks quite a bit!
